Prayers for Our Lives
Thank you for the generous gift of time given by Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts during last week's worship
That our elders and deacons are able to clearly discern God's call as they begin planning for St. Luke's year ahead
That we remember everything we offer helps and that we remain faithful to our stewardship pledges
For Chris Schilling, a St. Luke member in the Inquirer phase of the PCUSA ordination process
Samantha, a young girl diagnosed with ganglioneuroma, that her tumor remains benign
Kay and Norm Roddick and their entire family as Kay declines any further treatment of radiation and chemotherapy
Jean McKechnie's three year old grandson Spencer, that his skull will grow fully and that he will not need further surgeries
Mira, Holly Kuhlman's four year old granddaughter following facial surgery at Stanford
Noel Stanton working with ovarian cancer
Lavon Reaber as she recovers from a broken pelvis. She welcomes your cards - PO 3183, Walnut Creek, CA 94595
Prayers for our World
That our soldiers remain safe as they serve far away from loved ones
For an end to the fighting in Syria where government forces continue attacking civilians
That proposed talks between Iran and other nations would lead to peaceful resolutions
People suffering from the extreme cold weather across eastern and central Europe
Those facing uncertainties over personal finances would find peace and stability
That our children can feel safe in our schools
That those seeking jobs can find fulfilling employment
Those struggling with addictions, those seeking recovery, and the people who care for them
All who are dealing with life changing challenges such as cancer, MS, Lou Gehrig's disease, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease
For the Marin Interfaith Council; its Homeless Chaplaincy program and all who walk alongside those overwhelmed by life's circumstances
That we can seek God-honoring solutions to the struggles facing our neighbors in the Canal area
