Make a Joyful Noise

Music has its own ways of tapping into emotions, the unsaid, faith, creativity, and the Divine. From hymns to jazz and original compositions to folk songs, you will hear all kinds of music at St. Luke.

Meet Kevin

We are delighted Kevin Gerzevitz is St. Luke’s Music Director! On Sunday mornings, you will find Kevin playing piano (and potentially many other instruments), leading hymns, directing the St. Luke Singers, and imbuing worship with his musical gifts.

Kevin is a professional musician, composer, and teacher. He specializes in piano, accordion and jazz organ, and is often performing with The Jules Broussard New Orleans Jazz Band, The Heard Eye, and The Kevin Gerzevitz Trio. Learn more about Kevin’s talents here.

St. Luke Singers

Join Kevin at 9 am on the second and fourth Sundays of the month to sing a song during worship as a group.

This is a time to laugh, sing, and make a joyful noise.  No choral experience required - come for the joy of singing!

Past selections include hymns and The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel and Turn Turn Turn by Pete Seeger.

Musicians & Singers

St. Luke welcomes and encourages musicians and vocalists to share their gifts and talents during worship. Whether you are a professional or are looking to try something new, please speak with Pastor Andrew or Kevin about participating in worship.
