Dear St. Luke Community:

I am looking forward to worshiping with you at one of our three services over the coming days.  Tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 pm we will join for communion in the sanctuary. We will remember Jesus' last meal with his friends and his command to love one another. Just as Christ has loved us, let us love one another.

Then, on Sunday, we will celebrate Easter with a Sunrise service outside on the lawn at 6:30 am.  This will be a time to connect with the surrounding nature and remember the new life spring brings.   Lastly, after two years of being online, we will join together in-person (or online) for our Easter Celebration Worship service at 10:00 am. This will be a time to joyfully celebrate together with singing, fellowship, and there may even be some juggling! Following the 10 am service we will enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt.  So invite your friends and family to join us as we celebrate new creation and new life!

As always, please reach out to me via email at: or via phone at: 831.207.7356.

Peace be with you all
Andrew Quick

Dear St. Luke Community:

This Sunday is the Palm to Passion Worship Service.  We will start with Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem with a palm waving processional.  We will hear a dramatic reading of the Passion narrative found in the gospel of Luke.  And, the service will end with shattered pots and Jesus on the cross.  Although we all know how the story ends, with Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday, during the church, and into next week I invite you to rest in the uncertainty.  To pray amidst the hopelessness. To contemplate the brokenness.

Our theme this Lenten season has been Hold On. We have walked with Jesus these forty days considering the places we are being held back, and the places that we hold too tightly.  So this Sunday, let us let go.

I look forward to seeing you and worshiping with you this Sunday.  You are also welcome to join us at our Maundy Thursday service (4/14/22) at 7:00 pm.  And on Easter Sunday we will have a sunrise service at 6:30 am and our Worship service at 10 am.

As always, please reach out to me via email at: or via phone at: 831.207.7356.

Peace be with you all
Andrew Quick
